This space has been occupied with the intent of opening it up for public use as a place for teach-ins, student organizing and planning, and for participatory decision making. The space is located at 90 5th avenue (above 14th street), and is currently open to anybody with a student ID. We are negotiating with the administration about ID checks at the door (as of now New School Security still monitors the entrance, while the second floor occupied space is autonomous), and hopefully the space will soon be open to public use. — Come join us and participate in building this occupation… and building this movement.
